John Tams - Real maroon
John was seriously injured saving his wife pushing her out of the road of a car which drove up the kerb towards them whilst on Honeymoon.

Anyone who has played against John knows just how very good he is. The nature of his skill leads to some clumsy tackles and I have never seen him get over animated about it. Seems like a genuinely good lad and clearly a brave guy.

On behalf of OL I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that he finds his way back to a football park again soon. Also want to wish him and his new wife luck in their marriage. Not a great way to start but here's hoping it can only get better for them.
