Fighting Fund updates
Currently the total is £11,242. This includes the recent fundraiser in the Almondvale Suite and the income from the sponsored supporters buses to the CIS cup game v Albion Rovers. Once again we thank all those who have contributed so far, but we need more fans to dig deep for Livi and have a range of ways you can make your contribution. Please donate what you can and help give the club a fighting chance for the season ahead. You can use the PayPal contribute button on the LFL website (please note that PayPal receives a 3% fee for payments made) - http://www.liviforlife.co.uk/join.html Alternatively, you may prefer to send a cheque to the Trust registered office – LFL Trust, c/o 1 Leving Place, Eliburn, Livingston EH54 6XL. We will also have donation buckets available at upcoming Livi games, for those who wish to donate in cash. For anyone who wishes to donate by bank transfer the account details are Sort Code - 83-28-45 and account no 00644422. There is also a standing order form on the Trust website for those who wish to make regular contributions to the Fund. Although the club has a future under the new owners, we are still in a difficult position financially, and need the ongoing support of the fans. We Livi supporters cannot rely on others to invest in the club without showing our own commitment. The Fighting Fund will be used to assist the club in the days and weeks ahead, and the Trust will be discussing with the new owners where the money should be spent. In addition to the Fighting Fund, we would encourage all fans who have not yet purchased a season ticket to do so as soon as they are on sale (hopefully this coming week). We all know how important season ticket sales and gate receipts are to a football club, so please try to persuade a few friends, family and work colleagues to come along to the games.

Another £323 in the Fighting Fund buckets today, and other donations, take us nearer the £12,000 mark now.
Donations have slowed down in the last couple of weeks however, perhaps understandably in the circumstances . . . so now that the club's future has been secured (albeit that we don't know which league we are in) it's time for everyone yet to make a donation to get those Paypal donations, cheques and standing orders going. The club is going to rely on all of us doing what we can to get us back on our feet, so please don't forget that this Fighting Fund will be kept going for as long as it is needed. Please read through the options above, and make a donation. Every penny counts. Thanks. ![]()

Currently the Fighting Fund totals £16,300.
Around £1,500 of that has already been spent on merchandise for the club shop, which has been a great success, and we are looking at replenishing the shop with more merchandise in the near future. Another £6,500 is about to be spent on kitting out all the Youth Squads - a fabulous example of the Fighting Fund helping the club minimise spending. We will also be investing in the computer for the Youth team managers and organisers to use, as an audit at the club has shown that the existing unused computers are not viable. We are in regular discussions with the club on where and when to spend the money, to ensure that it is used appropriately and effectively. Ideally, we need another 2 or 3 decent sized (and successful) fundraisers to reach the £20,000 identified as the Club and Trust's opening target. One such fundraiser coming up is the Music Quiz on November 14th - hopefully as many fans as possible will support this night and help us add as much money as we can into the Fund. A fundraiser which hasn't yet taken off is the use of Standing Orders to make regular payments into the Trust account and therefore into the Fighting Fund. We have put an appeal out for supporters to take out standing orders, and our forms are available to download at any time, but it is not yet raising effective funds. This could simply mean that we are not promoting it enough, but we would urge as many supporters as possible to fill out and return a Standing Order form and help build regular income into the Fund. Many other Trusts use this method of fundraising to great effect, and there's no reason why we can't do the same at Livi, but it needs the supporters themselves to buy into it to make it happen. If we can encourage 100 supporters to contribute a regular £5 or £10 a month by Standing Order, that could raise as much as £6000-£12000 per year for the club. Remember, every penny paid into the Fighting Fund will go to the club this season, to help with a range of projects and expenditure.
