to some, the full cost of their purchases is important, the ethical questions involved. What i was tryingto say that if you are aware of the carbon footprint of a product, for example food, and buy lower "cost" carbon footprint items, these items are more likely to be grown local. Buying local fruit, potatoes etc should ensure local jobs. (that does ignore the picking gangs of romanias that do the picking lol( |
