For people going to Saughton park This Saturday there is no need to get a train you can get a bus from Livingston right next to Saughton park. Fares cost £1.20 for Under 16's and £1.80 for Adults.

The bus numbers are 27 or 28 from Livingston shopping centre stance E i think. The bus will take you through to Edinburgh. You will eventually go past Sighthill which has the four big flats which are unmissable. The bus will then continue to go straight on down a the road it will go past a busy area called stenhouse. You will go through of Shops and Pubs, one pub that always sticks in my mind is called the Burnside and it will be on your left handside. You will then pass a big blue Building again on your left hand side and after you will see a small river get off at the bus Stop there. Continue until THE FIRST set of traffic then take a left. Continue to walk straight on (Don't cross any Roads or anything) then you will see a large Green field that is saughton park.

If you're still not sure then PM me and i will try and help you out.

All i can say now is good luck on the Saturday and i hope you win :banana-th

Nae need lads, it's the bus I'm getting. Bus stop at the centre is the one nearest McColls - when facing McArthur Glen, it's the one to the left of McColls. (EDIT - may even get bus to centre and meet you there, if anyone decides to go by bus)

Buses are (IIRR) about ten/quarter past and twenty/quarter to for 28 (cant mind 27) - although this is First Bus and have a tendency to be late every now and then :banghead:
