The LiviforLife Trust is pleased to announce its Annual General Meeting and the Election for the Board for the coming year. The AGM will be held in the Meadowbank Suite at Almondvale Stadium on Thursday 29th September at 7pm. We are also delighted to say that we will be hosting our third Fans Forum directly after the AGM, with Pearse Flynn, Maurice Smith and (fingers crossed) Paul Lambert in attendance.
Part of the AGM process will be to elect members to the Trust Board. This election follows on from the inaugural General Meeting Election, held in March 2005, which saw the first Trust Board established, and settles the Trust into an annual election process for the Board.
The current Trust Board are continuing to work towards gaining a strong and lasting position within the LFC community, and discussions are ongoing with the Club regarding shares and the democratic election of a fans’ representative to the Club Board, as well as other important issues such as the construction of the disabled shelter at the ground.
We would encourage anyone interested in actively working to make a difference as a supporter in the future of Livingston Football Club to join the Trust and consider nomination to the Board of the LFL Trust. Anyone who is not a Trust Member at this moment in time can still put themselves forward for nomination, simply by joining the Trust. So if you are interested fill out a Membership application form as soon as you can and join in the Election process. Trust Election Rules and Candidate Nomination Forms are available on request.
Should you require further information on the Election or the AGM please do not hesitate to contact me either through the enquiry email address, by post at (temporary change of address) 1 Leving Place Livingston EH54 6ST, or by phone on 07759 713358. If anyone has any agenda items for the AGM please submit them as soon as possible via the contact details.
Finally, this is the time of year for membership renewal, and it would be extremely helpful and encouraging to us if as many members as possible could renew their memberships on or before the night of the AGM.
Thank you
