Not bothered about this. Adamson didn't impress me at all on the few occassions he played in the first team. Albeit, he's young and will get better, but didn't look as if he'd be good enough even when he had reached his potential.

When he played he looked like the solid full back we have been missing, I was more than happy with how he played.

With Clelland away, who is inputing into the decisions to let players go given that Proctor hasn't seen them play.

If Adamson was that great a prospect he'd have featured a lot more in the first team than a handful of meaningless end of season games.

It's a fact of footballing life that clubs free a fair proportion of young players when they get to about 19 years of age. Not every member of the Under 19 team will be good enough to challenge regularly for a first team place.

Livingston have got some money for Adamson in the form of compensation from Cowdenbeath.
