2007 Hillwalk

Many thanks to today's hardy walkers on the LFL Trust Sponsored Hillwalk to Ben More - Jamie, Jonathan1, Jonathan2, Karen, John, Ann, Neil and Andrew. Forgot to mention Jake the dog.

We had four seasons in one day on the hill, including a particularly nasty squall as we were coming down off the top, with fierce winds and driving icy rain. It was a great day nevertheless, and everyone seemed to enjoy it in spite of the hard slog up.

Well done everyone, especially those bagging their first Munro for the LFL cause. :banana-th

Awe Gillian, what a lovely thing to say, thanks :D I had a good day, tiring but good all the same. A good feeling of achievement again. Not as hard a slog as last year but still tough. My legs are feeling it tonight :jester:

I have some photo's too but not that many, the weather didn't really allow for many pics to be taken. The view was terrific when we managed to see it between the clouds.

Will be back to do it again next year definitely.:)

I thought my legs were OK this morning . . . until I climbed the three flights of stairs up to the staff rooms.

Don't think my legs are as bad as last year but if I remember correctly the Tuesday was worse than the Monday so maybe it's still to come......... :(

My legs were ok yesterday but today :( particularly my thighs.

Still, it was really great with good company.
