It was an hour long all singin' all-dancin' advert for Gretna FC, it's poxy 'dream' and the fairytale pish they continue to spout.

Both our games at ramshackle Raydale were featured.

Just could'nt believe the luck they carried in some many games at home with breaks going their way at every twist and turn. We should have banged a few more past them in both games down there but lets not start all that again.

Thought Irons sounded a bit of a pri*k and Alexander is just a bawbag.

Brooks - sincere but not a healthy man, can't see the SPL doing much to speed up his recovery, more likely to give the guy a relapse

We really cant slag anyone though about 'living the dream' and 'fairytales' can we?...during the Keane years we were doing the very same.

I only managed to catch the last 15 minutes or so of this; Brookes Mileson is nothing like I thought he would be but did anyone notice he was smoking inside his own ground (on at least two occasions)?!

It's my club and I'll do what I want to! :D

Raydale Park looks even more of a dump on the telly.

Gretna getting into the SPL makes we snigger, they laughed at our attendances :11ab:

SPL is welcome to them if you ask me.

This documentary just furthered the point that Alexander is in no way the manager of that side. Every team-talk, every shout from the side, absolutely everything went through Davie Irons. I'm not surprised at all that Alexander walked away when times got hard. It's damn sure that he'll be back in place for the big league next season.

We've had a lot of near misses, bad luck and downright awful refereeing for several seasons now.

We've also had games like Alloa twice in the cup and Hamilton away a few weeks ago mind you and they do say they make your own luck. Wonder how Gretna manage to manufacture things like a goal in the final minute of injury time in the last game of the season that gets them into the SPL though.

And you can't help but like Brookes Mileson.

Will watch next season with interest. The vultures will be ready to strike as soon as they put a foot wrong.

I don't recall us signing up for a series of documentaries to proclaim the fact.

To be fair they could have ended up looking like right chumps on the documentary if they didn't come up.

That said, the BBC would probably still have edited it so that they came out of it looking good.

It was very interesting to note that the massive and drastic cost cutting on everything bar the immediate 1st team squad was barely mentioned. They even let go their matchday announcer to save money with (other than the lad himself) no mention from their staff.

Did you see the QotS fans thumping the roof off it's hinges after winning 0-3 at ramshackle Raydale only recently? What an absolute (and dangerous) dump!

I've got a lot of time for Brookes and what he's trying to do in the community down there..........Irons on the other hand i would like to see slapped about the head with a comedy frying pan.
